The Glen Aulin trail is nothing short of magic. The trail begins with an easy/moderate meander a alongside the Tuolumne River. The half-mile approach from the parking area offers kiosks noting ecology, zoology, historical and geological features you might come across in the coming miles. Getting There: The Glen Aulin trail departs from Tuolumne Meadows, which is along Tioga Road near Yosemite's eastern entrance. If you're approaching from the the east, you'll find Tuolumne Meadows just under 8 miles (13 km) west of the Tioga entrance.
